You were destined to do great things! Do you believe that? Psalm 108:13 reads, “With God’s help we will do mighty things.” (NLV) As I read that verse this morning, I began to think, why are we so hesitant to do great things? I think often we lack the confidence to be who God created us to be. Sometimes we want to do something so big that we hesitate and do nothing at all. Often we let fear get in the way. I believe that God has wired each of us, according to His design, to join HIm in what He is doing around the world. Rather than seeking to change the whole world, why not think about making a difference in one life at a time?

Last night I read a book called, Kisses from Katie. I couldn’t put it down!  It is about a 19 year old girl who moves to Uganda, Africa. She begins looking to change one child’s life at a time and ends up changing the lives of hundreds. If one 19 year old can be used of God in such mighty ways, so can you!  As you enter this new week, look around you. Whose life can you influence? With whom can you share the love of Christ? Who will look at you and see Jesus?  With God’s help you will do mighty things. Don’t let fear get in the way this week and don’t hesitate, just do the thing that God puts in front of you and change the world one life at a time.
