Early this morning, I was on my knees in my office, praising God and listening to the song “I Surrender” by Hillsong Live. There is a line in that song that says, “I’m desperate for you.” and then “Drench my soul as mercy and grace unfold, I hunger and thirst.” That’s the way I feel today, desperate for God to speak to me. Hungry for Him. Longing for Him to rain down His mercy and grace on my life. This is also the way Moses felt – desperate for God to show up.
The Israelites were complaining to Moses that God was not meeting their needs because they were hungry. It’s hard to lead complaining people isn’t it? Moses cried out to God and God answered, “Look, I’m going to rain down food from heaven for you. Each day the people can go out and pick up as much food as they need for that day.” (Exodus 16:4) I find in that promise great comfort for my life. I am hungry for more of God and I am desperate for Him to speak to me. I speak this weekend in Tulsa, OK. I am asking God to rain down on the young women attending the conference. As I wait in faith before Him, He will rain down and feed me the message He has for these young women.
I would love your prayers for the Beautiful You conference this Saturday. Hey if you are willing to pray, would you let me know? You can leave a comment here or on my facebook wall. I can’t wait to see what God does!

I am a friend of JJ’s (who works with my husband at WorldVenture.) He told me about your ministry. So I am excited to possibly use your praise book with our women in Chicago.
I just prayed for your time speaking this week.
Fondly,
Glenda
