I don’t know about you, but it seems as if I need more wisdom every day. Life situations arise and I find myself internally crying out for wisdom. Instead of just crying out for wisdom, God has been teaching me to praise Him in advance for the wisdom He promises to give. When I dare to praise Him in advance, I find that my trust in His wisdom grows.
This week I needed wisdom and turned to Daniel 2:20-29. It is my belief that when we combine praying scripture with praising God, powerful change happens. And so I borrowed these words,
“Praise the name of God forever and ever, for He has all wisdom and power. He controls the course of world events; He removes kings and sets up other kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the scholars. He reveals deep and mysterious things and knows what lies hidden in darkness, though He is surrounded by light. I thank and praise you, God ……. for you have given me wisdom and strength.”
What about you? Do you need wisdom today; at work, in your marriage, with your kids, in your friendships, or with aging parents? Dare to praise God in advance for the wisdom He has already promised to give and watch your faith rise. Leave a comment and I’ll choose one winner for a worship CD.
Yesterday’s winner is, Natalie Wilson!! Congratulations, Natalie. Please email me your mailing address and I’ll get your CD in the mail.

This is always a great reminder. One of my go to Scripture verses when either things around me seem out of control and/or I need strength and wisdom.
Thanks Becky!

I have found that I am most happy when I look at the abudance of provisions that God has blessed me with. The home that I share with my daughter, the food that He has set at my table, my warm bed, a hot shower, the car that has been provided to get me around and a job that provides for us.
In the midst of chaos or confusion I find myself always blessed beyond measure in His provisions for my life. I am so happy and blessed.
