Congratulations to Jessica! You are yesterday’s winner of The 30 Day Praise Challenge and the I-Tunes gift card! Please email me your mailing address.
I read these words this morning by one of my favorite authors, Ruth Myers. “There’s a gentle but unyielding persistence about the love of God, a tenacious tenderness toward each person who has responded to Him. He loves us and holds on to us and won’t let go.” I love that! God’s love is so incredibly amazing! When we praise and adore Him for His love, the Holy Spirit does something extraordinary deep in our emotional nature and allows us to feel God’s love. As I travel and speak, I am struck by how many women and men know in their heads that God loves them but don’t really feel loved by God. For many years, that was my story. I knew god loved me – after all, He had to, He was under contract to do so. But, I had such a hard time feeling His love. When praise and worship became the pattern of my life, I began to feel the love of God deep in my spirit. Praise was the key that unlocked the door to feeling God’s love.
Today, I want to challenge you to really sink into the love of God. He doesn’t just love you – He likes you! He is madly, categorically in love with you! You are His treasured possession. Take some time and read Zephaniah 3:17. Read it several times and imagine God singing and dancing over you! What a picture!
Today’s question is what is your favorite worship/praise song celebrating the love of God. Leave a comment and you will be entered to win a free copy of The 30 Day Praise Challenge plus an I-tunes gift card.

I read the verse in several translations. I love that He will rejoice over me with love. My favorite praise song about His love is Oh How He Loves Us by David Crowder Band.

One of my favorite songs that I had been listening to that celebrates what God’s love has done for us is “What Love is This” by Kari Jobe!

Whenever I start to complain or get burdened by my problems, I always turn to “Lay Down My Life” by Sidewalk Prophets. It’s the one song that just seems to grab right at my heart, and I really feel God’s love being expressed through that song. I get goose bumps when I listen to it.
