Congratulations, Anna Holloway! You are the winner of the three novels by Elizabeth Musser! Please email me your mailing address and I will get those in the mail to you.
The other day I was talking with a friend about savoring the moments of life. When we savor a moment, we fully experience that moment, we’re present and we cherish and relish that moment. Whether it’s beautiful sunrise, a kiss from our spouse, a hug from our child, the sound of birds chirping and singing, the smell of a rose, or the feel of ocean waves on our toes, we stop long enough in our thinking to truly enjoy that moment. I think the sons of Korah had this in mind when they wrote Psalm 84 which begins with the words, “How lovely is your dwelling place.” (Psalm 84:1) God’s presence is in each moment of our lives and when we slow down long enough to savor the moment with Him, life becomes something far more wonderful. We live “fully alive”. That’s the way I want to live – what about you?
Today, I challenge you to savor the moment. And as you do, leave a comment. Let me know what did you savor, a moment of reading a book with your toddler, a peaceful walk on the beach, a ride through the mountains, or the taste of fresh roasted coffee? Today, I’ll be giving away an All Sons and Daughters CD. But you have to leave a comment.
I also want to let you know – I leave today for Indiana and Chicago where I’ll be doing interviews with Harvest TV and Moody Midday Connection.(I would love your prayers as I go!) So it may be difficult for me to upload my blog…..if I can’t upload my blog – I’ll post a question on my author/speaker facebook page.

I don’t have to summon strength. He is my strength as I daily face each new challenge.
