It’s Monday morning and it’s pretty dark and dreary outside. Yup. The rain continues to fall here in Colorado.  While I am not facing the terrible flooding that so many others are experiencing, I face other challenges this week. I bet you do too!  Every Monday morning I look at my week ahead and commit it to the Lord. As I was doing this early this morning, I read in Daniel 10:19 “Don’t be afraid, for you are very precious to God.Peace! Be encouraged! Be strong!” When I read those words, I felt like God bent down and whispered in my ear, “Becky, don’t be afraid, for you are very precious to God. Peace! Be encouraged! Be strong!”  I know those words were spoken to Daniel ages ago, but they are for me today as well. And, they are for you!

What challenges are you facing this week? Relationally, professionally, physically or spiritually?  Where do you feel stretched? This morning, as you look at the week ahead, Jesus tenderly bends down and whispers in your ear, “Don’t be afraid, for you are very precious to God. Peace! Be encouraged! Be strong!”
